Carol Hunts StanlandCarol works mainly with textiles, embellishing her work with such techniques as embroidery and applique, and creating her own block printed designs to produce unique fabrics. She makes pocketbooks, totes, and table linens, among other things.
She also handbuilds some pottery, including jewelry, and creates collages out of painted paper. Carol was a philosophy professor in her previous life, but has always been a craftsperson. |
